On Going Projects:

1. Dhaka Broadband: In October of 2005, N^th Solution has formed a partnership in Bangladesh with a local investor and an internet service provider to launch a wireless broadband service in Dhaka Metropolis.
   N^th is in the process of finalizing its ‘technology partner’ for the project. As always, Nth has evaluated more than 10 of the leading, state-of-the-art equipment providers of the world to find the best combination of track record, reliability, and innovation.
   By providing the users with “true broadband” service, N^th aims to change the definition of “broadband connection” in Bangladesh.

2. Biometrics Database: N^th is working with a major law enforcement agency in Bangladesh a pilot project, to set up an IT infrastructure to support a centralized biometric database.

   In the initial phase, a central database would be connected to a skeleton network of remote terminals in several parts of the country. Biometric information would be collected at the remote terminals, either for entering into the database or for requesting a match against the database.

   In March of 2006, Nth Solution demonstrated a proto-type biometric database to the senior executives of the agency. The feedback had been overwhelming and the response had been very encouraging. Accordingly, Nth has formed a partnership with one of the leading IT equipment providers of Bangladesh to participate in the contract bid, wherein, N^th would provide the biometric solution (including hardware).

   N^th is now actively engaging several leading vendors of biometric solution providers of the world to form partnership for both software (AFIS) and hardware (scanner, etc.). N^th is committed to a solution that would be customized by local experts to better serve the need of the local clients, as opposed to reselling a canned solution. For taking this approach, N^th has received commendation from senior members within the government, experts in the scientific community, academicians, and the top leadership of the country.
